Hyundai had had its biggest launch of the year 2011- the company launched the new Hyundai Verna RB launched on 11th May 2011. It’s just 5 days that the new Fluidic Verna was introduced, and the company already has been flooded with 5000 car bookings from across all cities in India.
Hyundai management is overwhelmed with the way it’s been going with the new Verna and they have already started teaser campaigning and other promotion at networking site Facebook and Twitter to get the pulse of people. The company also launched a website to showcase the traits of the Fluidic Verna.
The new Hyundai Verna first came off the wraps at Moscow Motor Show and ever since it has made several fans; thanks to the appealing traits.
The New Hyundai Verna will come in both petrol and diesel versions and is a larger (in size) replacement to the current Verna with more features. The new 2011 Verna is pitted against likes of Honda City, Fiat Linea, Maruti SX4, Volkswagen Vento, and also the upcoming Fiesta 2011.
The top end of the mid-sized sedan segment takes a third of overall sales in the sedan category and the segment has been witnessing growing like never before. Company believes to sell 45,0oo units of New Verna a year.
The new 2011 Verna comes with 4 engine options (that’s huge choice for the customers): The 1.4 liter Petrol and diesel engines for the frugal customers and the 1.6 liter petrol diesel engines for the power lovers. The 1.6l petrol engine belts out 123 bhp of power with 154 Nm torque and the diesel variant produces 128 bhp power and 259 Nm torque. Both the 1.6 liter engines come with automatic transmission option (4-speed). The New Hyundai Verna 2011 is gonna shake the C segment with some exciting traits including push start, Bluetooth connectivity, SRS airbags, ABS so on.
The prices will start from Rs. 699,000 for 1.4l petrol and go upwards to Rs. 10,74,500 for the 1.6l diesel Verna (prices ex-showroom Delhi).
