Ford Figo has been Ford’s biggest success story in India ever since its inception and by reaching a milestone of 100,000th sale of Figo sale it’s proven yet again. The company is elated at the fact that they could touch the figure in 15 months time. Of 100000 units, 80000 units were sold in the country and with exports taking off the company hopes to touch the next 100000 sales mark at a quicker pace.
Now to celebrate the 100000 sales mark Ford India started a new promo campaign called the ‘Bharat Yatra’. The cute hatch which was the Overdrive’s best car of year 2010 and the Zig Wheels Car of The Year 2010 will now be shown across all corners of India in what the company plans as a 100-days road show. The campaign aims to give buyers a first hand experience of looking at the hatch from close quarters before even checking in to dealers. They get some chance to experience Figo first hand.
The Ford Figo ‘Bharat Yatra’ road show aims at taking Figo to 18 states and 1000 tier 2 cities and small towns across India.
Ford Figo has its popularity coming from the fact that it makes a very good value for money and suits much to the Indian drive conditions.
