FIAL (Fiat India Auto Ltd) is all ready to delight buyers giving them a chance of owning diesel car for the price of petrol variant. In a bid to push the sales Fiat India has launched ‘Diesel at the price of petrol’ offer an upgrade on its hatch Punto and sedan Linea.
According to the company customers who’d like to be part of the Fiat upgrade offer should buy/have bought either Fiat Linea or Punto petrol variant between July 01, 2011 and July 31, 2011. The customers would fill in forms of participation and it is on July, 31, 2011 some customers will be randomly picked through lucky draw and they can go for the free diesel upgrade.
Besides the upgrade offer that some lucky few will win, there will be 100 lucky winners who qualify for free fuel vouchers – 1 year’s supply of petrol or diesel. This offer is not to winners alone but all Fiat car buyers (bought in July 2011) will get free fuel vouchers (for 3 months) and reduction on 1st year insurance and free roadside assistance for 50 months. Additionally company announced an exchange bonus up to Rs. 20,000 for those customers who exchange old cars for a Linea or a Punto.
Fiat continues to be a great force in diesel technology and the multi jet diesel engines have carved a special place in Indian auto market and across the world. The ‘deisel at the price of petrol’ offer is an initiative that looks to influence decision making of customers who prefer diesel to petrol but deterred for high premium cost they have to pay for the diesel car. Such people now book a Linea or Punto and stand a chance to win Punto or Linea diesel at the cost of its respective petrol variant.
