Seems it is the season of Limited Edition automobiles, Nissan the Japanese auto major has unveiled today a limited edition of its first vehicle in India the SUV X-Trail.
The Nissan SUV X-Trail now looks a lot more tempting with the goodies that come in the name of limited edition for the same old price. The launch was a part of adventure reality show in collaboration with NGC named X-treme Trail wherein XTrail’s offroad capabilities will be highlighted.
Coming to the new Limited Edition X-Trail it runs on same 2.0L M9R diesel engine and a 4×4-i system but the additional attractions include rear spoiler, touchscreen GPS, four visors for the doors visors, scuff plate in the rear, bumper protector in the rear, floor mat, cargo drawer and new decals christened X-treme Trail in the front and rear and few more upgrades. All of these for the same price of Rs 22.79 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The reality show features contestants who will traverse different terrains (from Rajasthan to Ladakh) on X-Trail and will be aired on Nat Geo starting from November 05, 2011 and will continue as 6-part series.

The car has great engine, the fuel efficiency is also good, around 10-12 in city. The price is on a bit upper side but it is okay if the performance is balanced with it.
