If you have only to run below 1000 km per month, the best option is to choose Honda City. Or rather, if you have to travel a lot opt between the Etios diesel and the Vento diesel.
Comparing Etios and Vento, Etios is cheaper and more affordable with good mileage. Whereas, Vento is occupied with quality, better interiors, comforts and so on. The major drawbacks of VW are its high maintenance cost and low resale value. Meanwhile, Toyota offers reasonable pricing. But the Etios doesn't offer a quality vehicle.
