Honda civic 2007 MT - Performance kit

1)Can I fit K&N Typhoon kit into 2007 Civic?If not the air filter? Will it have considerable improvement in performance? Will it cause any problems?
2)The back indicator glass cover is broken. I dont want to replace the entire kit as suggested by the authorised service centre. Is there any possibility of getting just the covering glass of indicator(online or direct selling)?

1. You can fir the Typhoon kit on the Civic but the job needs to be done by a competent mechanic. It will definitely reduce life of certain engine/exhaust components in the long run.
2. Nope. the rear indicator comes as a sealed unit and you cannot replace the glass cover alone. You will have to go for a complete tail lamp set. Aftermarket tail lamp sets would fade in no time. Go for a genuine Honda spare.
