Nissan Evalia Launched

Nissan Motor India Private Limited today (25-10-2012) launched its Multi Purpose Vehicle, the Evalia. The all new Evalia is priced between Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs. 9.99 lakh.



It comes with a 1.5-litre dCi k9k engine, which is mated with 84 bhp of peak power and 20.4 kgm of torque. The company assures that it would provide an economy of 19.3 kmpl. The gearbox is powered by 5 speed gear transmission.



The base variant, the Evalia XE is featured of power steering, power mirrors, a music system with AUX inputs and ABS with EBD, and the second option, the Evalia XE Plus variant provides airbags to driver and passengers. Meanwhile, keyless entry, AC vents at the back and a double DIN music system, fog lamps, push button start and a reverse camera are additionally included in the top end model, the Evalia XV.



The major advantages of the Evalia apart from its rivals are the aircon vents and controller even at the third row.

Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga are the major competitors of the all new Nissan Evalia.

Nissan Motor Co. Corporate vice president, Africa, Middle East and India, Toru Hasegawa said that the company would be launching 2 new models every year in India.
