Indian automobile conglomerate, Tata Motors launched India's cheapest diesel hatchback. The all new Indica eV2 is priced between Rs. 4,01,162 and Rs. 4,87,619 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant and for the top end version respectively.
The Tata Indica eV2 is available in 3 variants --Tata Indica eV2 LE, Tata Indica eV2 LS and Tata Indica eV2 LX. The car is also accompanied by 2 new colors Spicy Red and Sea Blue, in addition to the existing colors, Neo Orange, Jet Silver and Mint White.
The refreshed eV2 comes with a lot of new facilities and upgradations in order to satisfy the car maniacs who complained on its features and beauty earlier. Along with the additional features, Tata also compromised to reduce its price by Rs. 23,000 simultaneously.
Equipped with a 1396 cc, CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine, the eV2 ensures a mileage of 25 kmpl under standard conditions. The car is also available in MPFI petrol engine. Both engines are approved on BS4 emission norms.
As exterior is further designed with new headlamps, new front bumper, triple-step chrome tipped grille, a sporty rear spoiler with integrated stop lamp, sporty alloy wheels, Auto-Drive Assi0st and Clutch-To-Start feature, interior got mesmerized by large seats, wood finish centre console and host of other features like power windows, keyless entry, Bluetooth-enabled music system, 4 spoke collapsible steering wheel, tachometer, and front and rear fog lamps.
The consortium offers a standard warranty of 24 months or 75,000 kms, whichever is earlier.
