Nissan Opens Booking for Evalia, to be Launched in September 26

Japanese automobile giant, Nissan Motor Company Ltd's Indian subsidiary, Nissan Motor India Private Limited has just started the booking of the all new Evalia. Earlier the company had officially announced that the launch of Evalia would take place on 26th September.



The 7 seater Evalia will be placed in the MPV segment. Toyota Innova, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and Mahindra Xylo are the major rivals of Evalia. The same Evalia is retailed in Japan and Europe as the NV200 Vanette.



The Evalia is expected to be powered by a 1.5 L K9K Diesel I4 engine. The four-cylinder run engine doesn't make any lag anyhow. It is expected to provide an economy of miraculous 19.3 kmpl.



“We are studying all market requirements and will introduce products appropriately. There are no concrete plans yet for such an introduction. Our aim is to be present in all segments in India," said the Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Motor India, Mr. Takayuki Ishida.



"We are looking to launch Evalia just before the festive season, that is our idea. With Evalia, we would be entering a new segment. With its impressive space, superior fuel efficiency, and comfortable drivability, the Evalia aims to give an enjoyable experience for the urban-class families," Mr. Ishida added.

The Evalia is expected to be priced between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh.
