World's fastest car manufacturer Bugatti unveiled the 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil. The new machine differentiates from its existing models with its very special ‘Gris Rafale’ paint finish and blue carbonfibre trim.
The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Gris Rafale is powered by a 7.9 liter W16 engine which is capable of producing a maximum power of 1184 bhp and a peak 1500 Nm of torque. The conglomerate notifies that the motor gets pushed to a top speed of 410 kmph. However in reality, a maximum speed of 375 kmph is only provable under standard conditions. It demands only a mere 2.6 to clock 0-100 kmph at the speedometer.
The W16 engine is coupled with a seven speed dual clutch gear box. It ensures stability and safety while driving even at high rushes with the ESP provided in it.
The basic price of the Gris Rafale begins at £1.69 million (approximately Rs.14.68 crores), while its limited edition costs £1.9 million (approximately Rs.16.5 crores).
