The Official Pictures of Mercedes Benz CLA 2013 has been Leaked

On ahead of the Detroit motor show debut 2013 January, pictures of the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class has leaked. The CLA is based on the German automakers versatile MFA platform. The production CLA will retains the distinctive elements of Concept Style Coupe unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show.



The 4.6 meter CLA is based on the platform of the new A class. The major inspiration includes the headlights, front bumpers and the side. While the four-door coupe styling body resembles the CLS class. The interior of the car provides a seat space for four adults.



The four wheeler offers a choice of three gasoline engines and a diesel powerplant: CLA 180 with 122 HP (90 kW), CLA 200 with 156 HP (115 kW), CLA 250 with 211 HP (155 kW) and the more frugal CLA 220 CDI with 170 HP (125 kW).



The company has announced that an AMG version, CLA 45 AMG (335bhp) will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013.



The German carmaker will offer the new model with a 4Matic all drive system. The CLA will have to compete with the upcoming Audi A3 and BMW 1 series. Mercedes Benz has a price expectation starting from Rs.20,00,000.



Further technical details will be unveiled at the official debut in Detroit.
