Its supercharged 3.0-litre TFSI quattro unit promises 328.5hp along with a torque of 440Nm. Mated to an S-tronic dual-clutch transmission, the Audi S5 can go from standstill to 100Km in 5.1 seconds on its way to a top-speed of 250Km.

With its sportback styling, sporty performance and a dash of practicality which includes enough room for four adults and their luggage, the S5 ticks the right boxes. The Audi S5's features list includes the standard Bang & Olufsen Sound System, MMI Navigation Plus with a 17.78cm colour monitor, Audi Drive Select with Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, Efficiency and Individual modes, and Audi Parking System Plus with rear-view camera. For safety, the Audi S5 gets 8 airbags, anti-theft wheel bolts with a rotation ring and code key.

Audi is asking for is ₹62.95 lakh. For that kind of money, the S5 seems like a great deal. In Audi’s hierarchy, the S5 sits between the S4 which is identical mechanically and the RS5, but costs a little more than the sedan and is almost half of what Audi is asking for the coupe.
