Chevrolet Silverado Cheyenne Edition Goes Unveiled before SEMA

It seems all auto-makers are heading with their new products before the largest aftermarket auto event in the world, SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association). This time, it's Chevy with its Silverado Cheyenne edition.

In order to mould out the machine as it looks now, the firm has worked out a lot in the alteration section. At first, the company lowered the standard-box Silverado. Then replaced the bumpers, tailgate, and inner cargo box with carbon fiber. Meanwhile, the trailer hitch, the spare tire, the center console, and some sound deadening material have got dumped.

In the major part, the 5.3-liter V8 engine got replaced with a more 6.2-liter V8 heart, which is 65 hp more powerful than the former one which burns out a peak power of 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of max torque.

This all resulted in a decrement of 200 pounds mass, which enables a better power to weight ration for a better pulling. Don't worry the overpower won't take you out of control as it's mixed up with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes on the wheels.
