Lexus has broken the cover off of its much awaited car, the RC Coupe, at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Coupe brings all the sportiness of a next gen automobile. However, Lexus hasn't announced the price of the RC Coupe yet.
The RC Coupe is available in two trims- RC 350 and RC 300h. The RC 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which delivers a peak power of 314 hp and a peak torque of 380 lb-ft. The heart is coupled with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Meanwhile, the RC 300h comes out with a smaller 2.5-liter inline four engine producing a max power of 176-bhp and a max torque of 280 pound-feet combined with an electric motor. Its heart is coupled with a CVT.
Though it's a 2 door vehicle, it allows four persons to travel luxuriously. The Coupe is offered in both 10-spoke, 19-inch wheels and five-spoke 18-inch wheels. It's optional. The Lexus spindle grill drapes that are striped across the hood between the signature headlights are really sporty.
While, the front suspension uses a double wishbone configuration and the rear uses a multilink system. There is a 7-inch navigation screen, which is controlled by a lower center-console mounted remote touch interface.
