2014 Shelby Ford Mustang GT Unveiled

Shelby American, a Las Vegas based automobile custom builder, has unveiled the 2014 Shelby Ford Mustang GT at LA Auto Show. The 2014 Shelby GT starts at $45,895 and is priced $58,895 for the top variant. The GT replaces the GT-350 which was powered by Shelby so far.



The 2014 Shelby Ford Mustang GT is a customized version of Shelby American. The factory Ford Mustang GT costs only $30,900.



The custom vehicle is available in two trim levels – Standard GT and GT/SC. Both models are powered by a 5.0L V8 engine.



The standard Mustang GT generates a peak power of 430 Hp, while the GT/SC variant is available in two options - 525 Hp and 624 Hp of peak power. And the GT/SC clocks 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and covers a quarter mile in around 11 seconds.



“Based on the standard Mustang GT, the total cost of our entry-level 2014 Shelby GT is only about $45,000, yet offers so much more than the previous model. The performance-to-price ratio makes the Shelby GT perfect for any serious pony car enthusiast,” said Mr. Gary Patterson, Shelby American Vice President of Sales.
