Powering the Asterion is a 5.2 litre V10 engine that, alone puts out 610hp. This power figure on its own is commendable, but when you add electricity via three electric motors, sparks fly and an additional 300hp brings the power rating up to 910hp. Working in cooperation with the engine is a seven speed dual clutch transmission located behind the engine at the rear axle. All of this power results in a time limit of 3 seconds to sprint from 0-100Km and the vehicle has a top speed of 320Km, its different when the vehicle is running on pure electric power, the top speed then is 124Km. The last unit incorporates a starter motor and generator and works with the engine and front motors in hybrid 4WD mode. There is also an all electric FED mode and gas engine mode. All in, the four power plants after 910 horses and combine to get the car rolling.

As the vehicle is defined by Lamborghini as a 'Demonstrator' they haven't left any part of the car redefined. Such is the exterior styling, rear slung proportions, the front windshield stands more upright than on the typical Aventador or Huracan and the resulting dimensions give the car the proverbial “pouncing cat” look that is ever popular with automobile designers. The headlights that look like eyes with eyebrows are good, double grid front air intake, embedded mud guards and transparent engine cover. The car's tires are of Pirelli on 20 inch rims. The pure, minimal, modern style chosen for the interior of the Asterion reflects the character of the exterior.

The two seats are positioned higher than in other Lamborghini super sports cars and allow comfortable everyday driving, but are also great during extreme performance and handling. The extensive use of leather in Bianco Celaeno (ivory) and Marrone Attis (brown) introduces luxury and elegance directly into the Asterion driving experience, as does the use of special materials such as aluminum, forged carbon fiber and titanium. These styling features help in giving the minimalistic interior the premium feel of a 900hp supercar. A portable tablet provides climate and infotainment control, while driving mode is controlled via buttons on the Miura-inspire three spoke steering wheel.

As Lamborghini gives no indication on the possibility of releasing an Asterion derived hybrid supercar on the roads, but the show care was a lucid step if it has such a plan. Not much details concerning the weight or the price of what the vehicle would cost. The car looks promising and would do some decent sales, as Lamborghini has some loyal customers.
