Hyundai iTech i10 will be available only in 1.1 Era variant and the 1.2 Magna variant of the i10

The South Korean car maker, Hundai has introduced a new special edition of the popular hatchback in India called the iTech i10, thereby celebrating their 12 lakh customers of the i10 worldwide. The special edition iTech i10 will only be available on the 1.1-litre Era and 1.2-litre Magna variants.



Engine:
The Hyundai iTech i10 Era is powered by a 1.1 litre petrol engine which delivers a peak power of 68 bhp at 5500 rpm and a peak torque of 99 Nm at 2800 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission system. The iTech i10 Magna 1.2 is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine that delivers a peak power of 79 bhp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm. The Hyundai Era is slightly more fuel efficient than Magna at 20 kmpl but the Magna is more sportier.

Features:
The special edition iTech i10 comes with the features like rear-view parking camera with the images displayed on the Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM), red and beige colored upholstery, steering mounted Bluetooth controls and i-Tech body graphics place at different places. This new features gives the vehicle a premium and refreshed look.

The notable changes that made on the interior of special edition i10 is that, it will have red accents on the dashboard, doors and aircon vents, while the seat covers will be red and beige in color. When the exterior changes are concerned, the iTech i10 special edition got special iTech stickering and body graphics.

Speaking on the special edition of Hyundai i10, the company says, “We’re celebrating over 12 lakhs+ happy customers worldwide with a special edition of the iTech. With a host of irresistible features, this car is sure to be talk of the town.”

Though the price is not released yet, it is expected that the special edition Hyundai i10 will be around Rs 30,000 – 40,000 more costlier than the current variants. The new Hyundai i10 will come in two variety of colors- Crystal White and Garnet Red. The bookings are already opens across the Hyundai dealerships.

The Hyundai i10 is a successful model not only in India but also worldwide. Due to the increase of petrol prices and lack of diesel engine the sales dropped slowly, so through this special edition iTech i10, Hyundai aims to regain their sales figure.
