The Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition is the most capable Wrangler ever produced

The iconic Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV) Jeep Wrangler Rubicon celebrates its 10th anniversary. The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon makes its its debut in 2012 Los Angeles auto show. The Jeep is all set to fire the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Along with the Wrangler Rubicon, the Jeep is ready to unveil its two other master pieces- the new 2014 Grand Cherokee and the New 2014 Jeep Compass.



According to Jeep, the Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition is the most capable Wrangler ever produced. The vehicle will be available in 2-door Wrangler or 4-door Wrangler Unlimited.

Engine:
The new special-edition model will be powered by Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 petrol engine which delivers a peak power of 285 bhp at 6350 rpm and a peak torque of 260 pound-feet at 4200 rpm. The customers can choose either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. An exclusive features of the Jeep's 10th Anniversary Edition include a one-half inch increase in ride height versus the standard Rubicon model thanks to BF Goodrich KM2 265/70R17 tires.

Interior:
The custom touches made on the interior of the vehicle gives a special look to the vehicle. Striking Red leather seats are embroidered into the front seat backs. Seats are available in all-new exclusive Red or in Black color and are offered with a standard heated front seat. Red stitching adorns the leather-wrapped steering wheel and the center console. A unique gauge cluster features a "10th Anniversary" signature and also features the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) which gives various information such as oil pressure, oil temperature and tire pressure. The passenger grab handle includes a badge of "Rubicon 10th Anniversary"and features silver accents that are also found on the vent rings, steering wheel spokes and door pulls.

Exterior:
A more aggressive look is made on the exterior of the vehicle with the new dual-intake Power Dome hood. The dual-intake Power Dome hood assist in engine cooling and is joined by red tow hooks, Mopar rock rails and special “10th Anniversary” and “Rubicon” badges. The tires are mounted on 17-inch Rubicon-style aluminum wheels painted satin black with polished faces and a red Jeep Wrangler "icon" logo on the outside lip. The front bumper features removable end caps and a winch-capable design. These removable end caps are designed so that it help the Wrangler climb obstacles without hindrance, and reduce the damage potential to the bumper system.

The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition comes standard with a soft top. It is available with a black three-piece hardtop or body-color hardtop. Both hard top and soft top options provide the open air driving experience. The exterior colors include Billet Silver, White and 10th Anniversary Edition-exclusive Anvil. Price of the limited edition will be around the US$ 39,495. The vehicle will hit the stores by the spring of 2013. The vehicle gives a fuel economy of 17 mpg in city and 21 mpg in highway.
