Terry Grant drove the car after two months of intense preparation, with the international pro driver having to ensure his body was ready to withstand g-force more severe than that experienced by space shuttle pilots. The only aim was for the new car to accelerate its way in to the Guinness World Record and they were successful with the task. Further adding Grant even stated that the speed was critical and needed to make sure he hit the magic number to drive through the loop. He drove the vehicle through a 62.59ft tall, 360 degree loop with a force of 6.5G to set the record. Well the stunt is actually something one would expect from a supercar in a film, but not from a 4×4 which is completely aimed at the urban family market.

The First Edition will be available in strictly limited numbers and in the first year of production only. Powered exclusively by the 380PS supercharged V6 petrol and 300PS V6 diesel engines, the First Edition is distinguished by two unique metallic paint colors, Cesium Blue and Halcyon Gold, clear references to the breakthrough C-X17 concepts. Customers can also choose from Rhodium Silver and Ultimate Black. Further highlights include 22inch Double Helix 15 spoke wheels with Grey finish and contrast inserts, Adaptive Dynamics, full-LED headlights, Gloss Black fender vents and a sliding panoramic roof. Inside, the Windsor soft-grain leather seats in Light Oyster feature twin-needle stitching and an embossed houndstooth pattern influenced by the C-X17's award winning interior . The traditional Jaguar craftsmanship blends seamlessly with the configurable 10 color ambient lighting, state-of-the-art InControl Touch Pro infotainment system and the 12.3inch HD virtual instrument cluster.

In India the Vehicle is rumored to be priced at 75Lakhs onwards, no confirmation on that though. We sure know the price that it will be selling at the International market, the F-Pace will be sold at £51,450. Most certainly there would be a few small technical customizations for the Indian version of the vehicle. Its barely a minute, if you've missed watching how Terry Grant skillfully drove the F-Pace up and over a daunting 19.08 meter, 360 degree loop, do watch, worth your minute.
