BYD Seagull is a light-duty electric vehicle produced by the Chinese automaker BYD Auto Co. The Seagull was officially launched in April 2023 during the Auto Shanghai show and it received more than 10,000 orders on the first day of pre-sales. The Seagull has a starting price of $11,460,(9.5Lakh) making it an affordable option for budget-conscious consumers who want to switch to electric vehicles.

The Seagull has an electric motor and is equipped with either sodium-ion or lithium-ion batteries, providing a driving range of up to 405Km on a single charge. The top version of the BYD Seagull is powered by a 38 kWh iron phosphate "blade" battery , which is considered a safer alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries.

The Seagull is designed to be a cute and stylish urban commuter vehicle, with a length of just 3780 meters and a width of 1540 meters. It can accommodate up to four passengers, with a maximum speed of 75 mph (130 km/h).

The Seagull has received positive attention for its affordability, cute design, and innovative technology.
