Maruti Suzuki SX4 S-Cross

This crossover is built very much in resemblance with the European SX4 hatchback based 'S-Cross'. However, the Indian version would feature some exterior and mechanical updates. The 1.6 litre diesel engine is expected to churn out a maximum power of 118bhp and a maximum torque of 32kgm with a smooth transmission from a six-speed manual gearbox. There have been speculations that a 1.4 litre K-Series petrol engine might also be featured in this version. It is also likely to sport LED daytime-running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, scuff plates, black-cladding and perhaps Suzuki's “Allgrip” four-wheel drive system. The suspension system of the all new S-Cross is installed with a front Mac Pherson strut with coil spring and a rear Torsion beam with coil spring system. Braking system is assisted with a front and rear ABS with Ventilated Disc EBD and Brake Assist function.
