Kia Seltos SUV Undergoes Price Revision and Feature Modification

In a recent development, Kia Motors has adjusted the pricing of its widely recognized Seltos SUV, reducing the cost by approximately ₹2,000 across various models. This revision comes on the heels of an earlier price hike, which saw increases up to ₹30,000. The latest price change is particularly notable as it follows Kia's decision to streamline certain features in the Seltos lineup.



The primary feature adjustment involves the one-touch rolling window functionality. Previously available across all variants, this feature will now be exclusive to the X-Line model and limited to the driver's side window in other affected variants. This strategic reduction in features reflects Kia's endeavor to balance affordability with essential functionality, focusing on the core user experience.



The models experiencing this price adjustment include the manual and iMT versions of the HTX and HTX Plus, available in both petrol and diesel. Additionally, the DCT and automatic versions of the GTX Plus variants, featuring turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, are also part of this price revision. Consequently, the HTX variants, previously priced at ₹16 lakh, will now start at ₹15.18 lakh, while the GTX Plus variants will begin at ₹19.38 lakh, with these prices being ex-showroom.





Alongside these pricing and feature changes, the Seltos continues to offer a diverse range of engine options. These include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 158 bhp and 253 Nm torque, available with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT. There's also a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 115 bhp and 250 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is available, offering 115 bhp and 144 Nm torque, which can be coupled with a 6-speed manual or an IVT automatic transmission.
