Tata Nano, Twist XT, YOM 2014. Thought to go for a servicing as it was used vehicle. After calling Tata customer care I was connected to one Elite Auto Services, 118/37, Algoria, NH-34, Noapara, Kolkata 700125, which is around 25 KM from my residence. After discussing with the Elite Auto Services authority I left my vehicle for servicing on July 26th, 2023 with following issues (mentioned by me);
1. A/c switch inoperative
2. FM Antenna Loose
3. Right rare door locked from inside (could be open from out side)
4. Spare wheel Knob
5. Missing Cabin light
6. Missing Bonnet Stand
7. Damaged door biddings (all four doors)
8. And general checkup.
Coolant was added (at required level) by me on June 21st, 2023, after purchasing the vehicle, and found to be at recommended level at the time of servicing and there were no leakage.
Subsequently Job Card was prepared mentioning above items, but no estimation was given. I had called service representative on 27nd July, 2023 morning to remind him about the mentioned issues and was told things will be taken care of. I got a call form the service center on 28th July, 2023, to informed that, my vehicle is ready and can be collected, the bill amount INR. 4500/.
While visiting the service center what I observed is that, they have done following things;
1. Mobil Super, Rs. 976
2. Assy Oil Filter, Rs. 194
3. Fuel Filter, Rs. 114
4. Seal Washer Oil Sump Drain, Rs. 22
5. Assy Knob Spare Wheel, Rs. 56
6. Locking Plate, Spare Wheel, Rs. 26
7. Coolant, Rs. 53
8. Car Care Kit, Rs. 398
9. Assy HAVC Thermose, Rs. 684
10. HAVC Control Panel, Black, Rs. 2,429
11. Fevi Bond, Rs. 120 (used probably to fix FM Antenna, which is just an added ugly looking, and visible all around)
12. Black Tape, Rs. 35 (not aware of such tape, what I know is insulation tape)
13. Assy Stay Rod Hood, Rs. 72
14. Clip, Stay Rod Clamp, Rs. 19
15. Major Servicing, Rs. 1,475
16. R/R Dash Board Assy., Rs. 737.50
17. Replacement Bonnet Lock Fitted on Bonnet. Rs. 110.62
Total Bill amount is INR. 7525/ including CGST, SGST.
I was just returned a box with a an item saying HAVC CONTROL PANEL, Rs. 2429/ and ASSY HAVC Thermosenser, Rs. 420/, nothing else.
They did not do cabin light, door bidding. There were sufficient coolant at the time of servicing, why did they change I don't know and they too have no answer for this.
They have just poured adhesive around the FM antenna in such a manner that it’s just an ugly looking, at least it could have been used in professional way, I could have done better?
Also while collecting my vehicle what I have found is that, the Bonnet stand was not fixed, door lock was non operational, cabin light not here, not to mention door biddings. And had to wait couple of hours to complete only few jobs.
Initially I was told a bill of Rs. 4500/ (through WhatsApp) which I paid online, and they just increased up the bill to Rs. 7525/ once they understood that, I’m not coming back to them in feature.
They just talk shit, work deliver is big zero. Did a mistake not to go to Lexus Motors which is nearby.
